Wasting Time

Of course, anyone can talk tough when the machine of life is running well.

Last Saturday my computer went down and with it my portal into my work world that includes writing a book for artists on how to triumph over rejection.

A long time ago I made a decision that nothing would be wasted on me. It’s still a tough one when things go wrong, and it seems that I can’t move forward.

Unable to work on the manuscript, I began to make longhand notes and read a few art essay books, which turned out to be a good thing. There are lessons everywhere. You need only be aware of them.

Not only does the artist in postmodern times have to know the intrinsic value of his art, he must know why he is an artist. This is at core and the value of my upcoming book.»
