The Way to Peace
As the late peace activist, A.J. Muste, put it:
“There is no way to peace … peace is the way.”
This is an enlightened and beautiful thought.
Still, when the barbarians are at the door, ready to rape, pillage, and kill, brave men know that freedom is not free.
While war is the worst of answers, strength of conviction and character cannot be defeated by evil.
This is Independence Day.
If we cannot determine right from wrong, we will all pay the consequences. Hate is fueled by victimhood.
