Steve Jobs - Visionary

steve jobs
Steve Jobs: 1955-2011

For over 25 years, I’ve been using Apple computers—a tool I rely on each day.

We know that Steve Jobs was one of the co-founders of Apple. The other day, I had the opportunity hear and watch him for the first time. He was speaking at the Stanford University graduation ceremonies some six years ago.

The title of his talk was this: How to live before you die.

As a teaser: What possible connection could there be between calligraphy and the success of the Apple Macintosh?

I am also a big fan of Jobs and use apple products 24/7, whether I’m listening to my ipod on the train, texting or emailing a friend from my iphone or retouching images at work, it’s a shame to see him part ways with Apple.

I’m not an Apple girl, but I wish I’d started like that. They seem so intuitive.

Did you make the “Visionary” tag on your Apple?

Yes. Made the visionary tag on my iMac using a free app called Skitch.

One of the traits I liked about Steve Jobs was his awareness about mindless dogma and following the crowd. He did neither and created an empire based on technology and great design.
