Pretty Baby
On the most basic survival level, approval from others is absolutely necessary. As a baby, you must have approval from your mother so she will take care of helpless you.
You must get approval from your father and others of the village so that you can grow up into adulthood. In the same way as you will outgrow your baby teeth, you can outgrow this need for approval from outside sources to move onto the next level.
While the need for approval is deeply built into the entire biological system, into the genetic code for survival, a creator discerns right action in each moment, rising above weakness to touch divine fire.
