What is true art is a question both the artist and the art viewer must demand of themselves.
You cannot bottle the sublime. But here is a tip based on medications that will point you in the right direction.
Pure art—that is, art from the soul—is intuitive, healing; this art has no negative side effects because it is organic like herbs.
Other art—that is, art from thinking—is subject to motive, which means that it is premeditated: this art, while it may do some good for some superficially, always exacts a price of negative side effects because it is synthetic like plastic.
