The whole truth cannot be perceived directly through reason or observation. When you look at your face in the mirror is that the truth?
What about the other 359 degrees that circumscribe your head plus all conceivable and observable angles and points of reference available in three-dimensional space? Each degree of freedom is but a part of the whole truth.
When you can grasp the whole, the absolute truth intuitively, then you have bypassed the cognitive for the transcendental—and the benefit to you is that the inherent power of such truth endows you to create and to persevere within a cultural system bent on shaping you into a living cog: common or specialized, a cog’s a cog.
Finding the truth for yourself is admirable. But beware of those who have found the truth for you.
