Actors, not Stars
Inspired by the popular video game franchise, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) is a completely computer-generated film unlike any other. Final Fantasy is a complex science fiction drama with human-looking digital actors who, at first take, look astonishingly real.
Aki, the digitized female lead, is nearly impossible to tell apart from a live actress.

Babes and Wisdom
I was walking my two Yorkies this evening when I met a neighbor. She has a 7-year old daughter who was home with her grandmother. Grandma had cataract surgery and was recuperating.
“How’s your mother doing?” I asked.
“Oh, there was a bit of bleeding, but she’ll be okay soon,” said the neighbor.
“How’s your daughter doing? Is she helping out?”
She laughed. “Is she ever. My mother told her that she didn’t want her to be her slave all day long.”
My dogs yelped, wanting to continue their promenade.
“I’m not your slave,” she told my mother. “I’m your nurse.”
“Brilliant!” I said.

Zendo, Please
Although I’m not a Buddhist, I feel the truth of Buddha.
In the same eclectic way, I find truth, wisdom, and the umbrella of it all—awareness—in all those who came before me that I respect. There is no point in reinventing the wheel.
We experience the world differently. Here are a few ways of seeing reality. Where do you stand?

Who Are You?
Among artists there is an apparent drive to be different, to distinguish one’s own work from others—to have unique vision.
But what precisely does this mean?
How can you be anything other than your self? At first, this question may appear a paradox. Not a puzzle at all.
Try to be unique, unencumbered by the false masks of personality. The answers and ensuing questions will come at light speed.
