Coincidence:

I often hear that people want to know the meaning of coincidence, or what Carl Jung called synchronicity.

Some remark that coincidence means nothing, really.

But it does mean something, and it is important not to overlook that which only you experience—which is the nature of coincidence.

Aside from it being meaningful (it can look like luck, or a premonition), coincidence has another purpose: to remind the one experiencing it that there are grand transcendental forces at work, which leads to the goal: understanding.

Do well because the alternative is unacceptable. 

When you feel that you’ve learned a lesson of importance, remain alert. The tests of character are in the wings.

In time, you will face some crises—minor or dire—that will test your resolve. Hold the highground, remain resolute, and do not get derailed from your mission.

With deference to Rumi, when the magic to ‘right a wrong’ graces your path, embrace the moment as an opportunity to improve your character by burning negative karma.

You can change in this universe.

For all those who as children never heard the healing words of encouragement, I offer this proven perspective: no one can stifle your vision, your soul, your purpose in life—your dharma, if that is your mission.

Remember, if you want depth, you must dig deep.
